Trend report: Running sneakers

Who says a look truly successful needs a shoe from a high heels or at least uncomfortable to wear during a long busy day? How to teach us the trendsetters around the world the choice of the accessory most loved by women can also be cleared by something different, bright colors, but especially comfortable. So if before running shoes, in slang fashion "running sneakers", were used for their main purpose,  for outdoor sports activities or in specialized centers, and now is not worth this common rule, or at least the their use also happens to activities that have nothing to do with physical exertion. In fact, if at first you thought a shoe Christian Louboutin was something essential to be fashionable, now just a fluorescent colors of Nike sneakers or New Balance (remember them?) to match even the most femminle of your spring dresses that extra edge not only in the ability to be able to cross the streets far and wide but to have that touch of urban style, which we like!

N.B Your feet and legs will thank you, but also your wallet! Convinced now? ;-)

Chi dice che un look davvero riuscito necessiti di una scarpa da un tacco vertiginoso o comunque scomodo da portare durante una lunga giornata piena di impegni? Come ci insegnano le trendsetter di tutto il mondo la scelta dell'accessorio più amato dalle donne può anche essere sdoganata da qualcosa di diverso, dai colori vivaci ma sopratutto di comodo. Dunque se dapprima le scarpette da corsa, in gergo fashion "running sneakers", venivano utilizzate per il loro scopo principale, ovvero per le attività sportive all'aria aperta o nei centri specializzati; adesso non vale più questa regola comune o per lo meno il loro utilizzo avviene anche per attività che non hanno nulla a che vedere con lo sforzo fisico. Infatti se dapprima pensavate che una scarpa di Christian Louboutin fosse qualcosa di indispensabile per essere alla moda, adesso basta una sneakers dai colori fluo della Nike o delle New Balance(ve le ricordate?) da abbinare anche al più femminle dei vostri abitini primaverili per avere quella marcia in più non solo nell'abilità di poter attraversare le strade in lungo ed in largo ma per avere quel tocco di stile urbano, che ci piace!

N.B I vostri piedi e gambe vi ringrazieranno, ma anche il portafoglio! Convinte adesso? ;-)

#Fallo al mattino: the new campaign by Desigual

 

Desigual, the well-known Spanish brand from fun, fresh and unconventional clothing, will soon launch a new spot that answers the question "What is the first thing we do in the morning?". The campaign #falloalmattino, in which four women cheerful, lively and surprising represent four different mood to start the day, sending a clear message, to suggest that the best way to deal with life every day, and thanks to which you can provide multiple interpretations for fashion and life as well as a new way to communicate with their fans the motto "La Vida es Chula", trademark of Desigual that fully expresses the brand's DNA, ie the 'enthusiasm, positivity and optimism through proposals' s clothing style original and imaginative.

 

 

 

 

 

Desigual, il noto brand spagnolo dall'abbigliamento divertente, fresco ed anticonvenzionale, lancerà a breve un nuovo spot che risponde alla domanda "Qual'è la prima cosa che facciamo al mattino?". Il video #falloalmattino, nel quale quattro donne allegre, vivaci e sorprendenti rappresentano quattro mood differenti di iniziare la giornata, lancia un chiaro messaggio, che vuole suggerire il miglior modo di affrontare la vita di tutti i giorni e grazie al quale è possibile dare molteplici interpretazioni alla moda ed alla vita; nonchè un nuovo modo di comunicare con le proprie fan il motto "La Vida es Chula", marchio di fabbrica di Desigual che esprime appieno il DNA del brand, ovvero l'entusiasmo, la positività e l'ottimismo attraverso proposte d'abbigliamento dallo stile originale e fantasioso.

The Little Black Jacket by Chanel

In conjunction with the Design Week here in Milan, is celebrated one of the iconic pieces of the fashion world, the black jacket by Chanel, through the exhibition "The Little Black Jacket".

The exhibition features the photographs of Karl Lagerfeld's latest book, "The Little Black Jacket: Chanel's classic revisited by Karl Lagerfeld and Carine Roitfeld," that after passing through Tokyo, New York, Taipei, Hong Kong, London and Moscow, finally arrives in Milan with more than 100 international personalities photographed by the designer, such as Vanessa Paradis, Alice Dellal, Maïwenn and Clémence Poésy who interpreted the jacket with their style and personal taste. I have been there, and I loved each photo, as well as the location (Rotonda della Besana) that gave rise to a wonderful atmosphere. So, here I am to share with you some of the photos shown! :-)

In concomitanza della settimana del Design qui a Milano, viene celebrato uno dei pezzi iconici del mondo della moda, la giacca nera di Chanel, attraverso la mostra "The Little Black Jacket".

L'esposizione vede protagoniste le fotografie dell'ultimo libro di Karl Lagerfeld, "The Little Black Jacket: CHANEL's classic revisited by Karl Lagerfeld and Carine Roitfeld"; che dopo aver attraversato Tokyo, New York, Taipei, Hong Kong, Londra e Mosca, sbarca finalmente a Milano con più di 100 personaggi internazionali fotografati dallo stilista, come Vanessa Paradis, Alice Dellal, Maïwenn e Clémence Poésy che hanno interpretato la giacca con il loro stile e gusto personale. Io ci sono stata ed ho amato ciascuna foto, nonchè la location(Rotonda della Besana) che ha dato vita ad un' atmosfera meravigliosa. Dunque, eccomi qui a condividere con voi alcune delle foto esposte! :-)

Pil Associati Press Day

Also in the vein of the press day ... I went to the one organized by Pil Associates, during which my eyes were won by more than one model of shoe. There were, in fact, different brands, including Cult (it was true love with the lace that instead of the strings have the studs side), Khriò (for next autumn / winter peak of biker boots with big buckles, Texans and sports sneakers with glam inserts), No Place (new brand with obvious contamination from underground culture that has in its line sneakers, boots made ​​from skins washed, brushed and hand-crafted for a used effect ... but the pieces "strong" are undoubtedly one of the camouflage print), and finally, always shoes industry, Walker, Camperos and Espadrilles, whose names are already talking in itself for the type of shoe presented. Sempre sul filone dei press day...sono stata a quello organizzato da Pil Associati, durante il quale i miei occhi sono stati conquistati da più di un modello di calzatura. Erano presenti, infatti, diversi marchi tra i quali Cult(è stato vero amore con le stringate che al posto delle stringhe presentano delle borchie laterali), Khriò (per il prossimo autunno/inverno punta su stivali da biker con maxi fibbie, modelli texani e sneakers dal mood sportivo ma con inserti glam), No Place (nuovo brand con evidenti contaminazioni provenienti dalla cultura underground che presenta nella sua linea sneakers, stivaletti ed anfibi realizzati con pelli slavate, spazzolate e lavorate a mano, per un effetto used...ma i pezzi "strong" sono senza dubbio quelli dalla stampa camouflage), infine, sempre del settore calzature, Walker, Camperos ed Espadrilles, i cui nomi parlano già di per se per il tipo di scarpa presentata. Ma non finisce qui! Infatti nello showroom sono presenti altri brand come Comete ed Ottaviani per il settore bijoux/gioielleria e Malloni ed Ixos per l'abbigliamento ed accessori vari.

Nel post di oggi vi mostro un pò di foto fatte durante il press day di Paola Frani, di cui uno scorcio della prossima collezione autunno/inverno 2013-14 l'avete potuto vedere nel post riguardante la sfilata durante la fashion week a Milano. Nello showroom, infatti, oltre ad essere presenti i capi che hanno sfilato, era esposta in anteprima l'intera linea. 

So...Buona visione! :-)

Fratelli Rossetti Press Day

A few days ago I went to the presentation of the Fall / Winter 2013/14 Fratelli Rossetti, of which I had already mentioned something during the fashion week. In the collection, as well as being a part of this inspired by the "Swining London", is characterized by a marked mood on men's style, which is something of a hallmark of women's footwear brand. So you go from iconic loafers brera, convenient printed loafers, moccasins in the glossy version without strings from those high heels that reflect the details of the classic men's shoe. In addition, next to the main collection, Fratelli Rossetti has created a new second line that deviates from the classic style and mainly focuses on the latest trends, or urban patterns that recall the very London style and I particularly enjoyed, perhaps because the nearest to my style and definitely aimed at a younger market, which loves to follow trends, the quality of a product but costs slightly lower than those of the first line of the brand.

Qualche giorno fa sono stata alla presentazione della collezione Autunno/Inverno 2013/14 di Fratelli Rossetti, di cui vi avevo già accennato qualcosa durante il periodo di fashion week. Nella collezione, oltre ad essere presente una parte ispirata alla "Swining London", è caratterizzata da un mood improntato sullo stile maschile, che rappresenta un pò il segno distintivo delle calzature da donna del brand. Dunque si passa dagli iconici mocassini brera, alle comode loafers stampate,ai  mocassini in versione glossy senza stringhe a quelle dal tacco vertiginoso che riprendono i dettagli della classica scarpa da uomo. Inoltre di fianco alla collezione principale, Fratelli Rossetti ha pensato ad una nuova seconda linea che si discosta dallo stile classico e si focalizza principalmente su quello di tendenza, ovvero modelli urbani che richiamano molto lo stile londinese e che ho apprezzato particolarmente, forse perchè più vicino al mio stile ed indubbiamente indirizzato ad un target giovane, che ama seguire le tendenze, la qualità di un prodotto ma con costi leggermente inferiori a quelli della prima linea del marchio. 

Aveda EarthMonth2013

On the occasion of Earth Month, for this 2013, Aveda has as its objective 3.7 million euro for projects dedicated to drinking water. An ambitious project that sees Aveda engaged for 14 years and this year has been enhanced with an important partner which Cesvi, including Cristina Parodi as testimonial and that is an Italian  ONG present in 26 countries with projects of environmental education and sustainable development .

To contribute to this project, for the entire month of April, you can donate 2 euro for each color service booked in Aveda salons or going into Aveda Education Center (Via Turati 40 - Milan) on the dates of 4, 10 and 22 April, requiring to the hair styist a session of cut or fold compared with a small donation. The funds raised will go then to the project that is organizing Cesvi in Uganda since last May. The project will aim to economic development in the agricultural sector of the population in Lango (Northern Uganda) with the construction of 15 new wells and 24 water sources for restoration of access to water.

What better reason to treat yourself to a cut or fold free to help third world countries?

In occasione del Mese della Terra, per questo 2013, Aveda ha come obiettivo 3.700.000 euro a favore dei progetti dedicati all'acqua potabile. Un progetto ambizioso che vede Aveda impegnata da ben 14 anni e che quest'anno si arricchisce di un partner importante quale il Cesvi, di cui Cristina Parodi è testimonial e che rappresenta un ONG italiana presente in 26 paesi con progetti di educazione ambientale e sviluppo sostenibile. 

Per contribuire a questo progetto, per tutto il mese di Aprile, è possibile donare 2 euro per ogni servizio colore prenotato nei saloni Aveda oppure recandosi nell'Aveda Education Center(Via Turati 40 - Milano) nelle date del 4, 10 e 22 Aprile, richiedendo agli hair styist una seduta di taglio o piega a fronte di una piccola donazione. I fondi raccolti andranno poi a favore del progetto che Cesvi sta organizzando in Uganda dallo scorso Maggio. L'intervento punterà allo sviluppo economico in ambito agricolo della popolazione di Lango(Nord Uganda) con la costruzione di 15 nuovi pozzi e la ristrutturazione di 24 fonti idriche per l'accesso all'acqua.

Uomini e donne! Leggete bene questo che vi dico! Vi ricordate lo zainetto che ci portavamo controvoglia e carico di libri alle prime luci del mattino per andare a lezione? Bene! Adesso non vi sto invitando a ritornare sui banchi di scuola, ma voglio solo avvisarvi che lo zainetto è tornato prepotentemente sulla scena "fashion" e direttamente dagli anni novanta. Se è oltretutto "vintage", ancora meglio! Io lo sto cercando in verde militare o dallo stile bon ton come quello storico di Chanel, per questo ho sbirciato un pò in giro alla ricerca d'ispirazione e devo dire che guardando queste immagini di street style, confermo la mia voglia di acquistarne uno e poi non parliamo della comodità di avere le mani libere da qualsiasi ingombro! Dunque che ne dite? Vi ho convinto?

Un breve post, per mostrarvi il mio nuovo paio di scarpe dallo stile mascolino ed androgino. Era da un pò di tempo che ero alla ricerca di un mocassino come questo e poi di scarpe classiche basse non se ne hanno mai abbastanza, non siete d'accordo? Queste scelte da me, del brand Boemos, sono d'altronde scontate del 20%, quindi quale altra occasione se non questa?

Trend report: Salopette/Overalls lover

It will not be my passion for the fashion of the 90 'to convince you that the overalls to be a leader you have always in your wardrobe, but if the catwalks this season have revived, in a vintage classic denim, silk, from technical fabrics or leather, there is a reason for sure! If in the years of observation could be a symbol of freedom in dress, today's baggy pants with bib and braces become, in fact, a tendency to be reinterpreted according to your style ... I peeked around a bit on the web in search of  the perfect inspiration for re-wear a garment that is the most versatile and what I suspected was just my obsession with the past, proved to be rather a passion quite common!

Non sarà certo la mia passione per la moda degli anni 90' a convincervi del fatto che la salopette dev'essere un capo da avere sempre e comunque nel proprio guardaroba, ma se le passerelle di questa stagione l'hanno riproposta, in versione vintage nel classico denim, in seta, dai tessuti tecnici o in pelle, un motivo ci sarà sicuramente! Se negli anni della constatazione poteva rappresentare un simbolo di libertà nel vestire, oggi i pantaloni larghi con pettorina e bretelle diventano, infatti, una tendenza da reinterpretare a seconda del proprio stile...io ho sbirciato un pò in giro sul web in cerca dell'ispirazione perfetta per re-indossare un capo che dei più versatili non c'è e quello che sospettavo fosse soltanto una mia ossessione verso il passato, si è rivelata invece una passione abbastanza comune! 

Dunque che l'ispirazione sia con voi!
